Cyrus' mother used negatives articles about the antics of starlets Lindsay Lohan, Britney Spears and Paris Hilton as a cautionary tale of
how not to behave.
Her birth name was Destiny Hope Cyrus because her parent's thought that she would achieve great things, but she was such a happy baby her father gave her the nickname "Smiley," which was later shortened to Miley.
Promised her parent's that she would live at home until she was 20, in exchange her parent's gave her a small section of their house with a bedroom and separate seating area for her to "chill out.

She first auditioned for Disney when she was only eleven; she didn't get the part because executives thought she was too little.
